Would any of my learned LAFers have any pictures of potential uniforms of troops making up the Persian Army in or around 1870? Thinking of adding to my 'fictional 2nd Afghan War campaign intervention forces'.
Thank you in advance!

So what do we think might make some 25/28mm proxy figures...... ?

A range of coneheads in bathrobes?
Westfalia produced Napoleonic era Persians. The uniforms would be wrong but at least the caps would be right and that's probably the most distinctive aspect of the troops and the bit the eye would be drawn to so probably acceptable proxies.

Ex Westfalia now sold by Black Hussar
