I'll be doing a Car/Chariot hybrid for Mad Maximilian.
-
Look forward to it,same boat ;)

So the goal is to have a racing chariot towed by a pair of motorcycles.
To start with my mighty steeds:
A picture of the hoped for bike, a Brough Superior Austin Four

I started out in Illustrator making a template for the frame to cut on the laser:

This proved to be too small to cut effectively in a decent material so I'm opting to use the above image to make a jig and try and bend the frame out of brass stock.
More to come.

I was hoping for a laser cut entry too. Hopefully you'll be able to do some pieces at least

Lovely idea.

I love the idea behind this one.
lol lol

Laser cutting the frame turned out to be a bust so I went to plan "B" which may or may not disqualify me as this, at least the motorcycle pieces, become more of a kit bash than a scratch build. Hopefully I can make 75% scratch-built with the chariot and such.
Here's my limited progress so far.

The starting bike is a 1st corp bike from their 20th Cent. Follies. This is the one that comes with a nun rider.

The bike gets the back end chopped off. The dual rear wheels came from another 1st Corps kit, this time one of their autos.

The back wheels attached and fiiling done to the tank to get that particular line that the Brough tanks have. It will get some green stuff to round it out more fully later.
I'm waiting on a second delivery of wheels before I can start the second bike.

I'm intrigued. Did you ever finish this?
