Title: Castillo Besieged!
Post by: anton ryzbak on January 21, 2018, 05:15:26 PM
Well, I finally got the Castillo finished (and just in time) and presented my game at Spartacon. You can read about the scenario here https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2018/01/castillo-besieged-part-i.html (https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2018/01/castillo-besieged-part-i.html) and the resulting battle here https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2018/01/castillo-besieged-part-ii.html (https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2018/01/castillo-besieged-part-ii.html)

Ahhhhhh!  Is that Brigadier Young's grandchild in the fort?!  Or have you done something horrible to a small child to put him inside the fort!?   :o

 lol

Beautiful game.  The kid in the fort made be think of a write-up of how Brigadier Young used to cheerily pop up from a hatch in the middle of his gaming table.

Hope all the players enjoyed themselves - and were properly in awe of your efforts to get the fort on to the table in time.

Amazing modeling. Great game. Outstanding photo-essay AAR. 10 out of 10. Will you take this show on the road?

Zippyfusenet,
I intend on taking it to Flint Michigan for Flintcon on February 3rd, and perhaps to Drums Along the Maumee later this year. Work prohibits any further ventures until I retire next year, at that point Historicon and other conventions become possibilities.

Brigader Peter Young !  Mastermind, you're dating yourself (and me !  I received his book, Charge, as a 17th birthday present)

The Castillo is a very impressive building.  Bravo - gaming on the grand scale.

ROAD TRIP! ROAD TRIP! ROAD TRIP!

I'd better book a room, it's already 1/25. Recommend a hotel?

Drums would be great too. I've already got a room booked for Drums this year.

Uh, are you local to northern Ohio/Michigan?
