Great to see Renaissance Turks (and so nicely painted). A fantastically versatile Army in so many ways.
-
I like them. :)
-
I am dabbling in an Age of Reason campaign and thinking of including Turks . Lovely looking unit , thanks for posting .
-
Thanks for the comments. I had a 15mm Ottoman Turk army I used for George Gush's rules in the 80's and thoroughly enjoyed playing with them, so had the urge to recreate them again in 28mm.
-
They look great! Really like the purples
-
Top work.
-
Very very nice paint jobs, shame about the bendable lances though.
-
Thanks again for the comments.
Yes, I might have another go at straightening the lances, otherwise replace them with wire. I'm still 50/50 on them as they match the pole-armed foot I have done, but they are probably not going to stand up to much handling or being knocked over.

A very pretty unit indeed.
-
Excellent paintjob and color palette! Cheers!
-
Those are cracking. Love the colours too!
-
Thanks again. The next unit just completed:

Very inspiring, I've got some of those coming my way and this is making me even more excited

I understand that purple was considered unlucky, by the way. Probably not worn much by Ottoman troops.
