Hi Gamers from Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, and the rest of Europe

The start of the Belgian Wargame show season and Warcon 2018, on Saturday February 17, 2018, is almost upon us. We all expect you in the Kloosterstraat 26 in Merelbeke (Gent), Belgium from 10 to 17hrs. It will be a blast with 23 clubs from Belgium, the Netherlands, and France with demos and participation games.

Not less than 27 international and national traders have confirmed and you’ll have ample opportunity to spend your hard-earned cash on a plethora of diverse classic and brand new (war)game stuff. This 29th edition looks even better than the ones before.

We will have our trusted B&B stand and ‘koffiekoeken’ and sandwiches will be available. Coffee, drinks and, we wouldn’t be Belgians, a fine selection of quality beers and wines.

This edition is a truly cooperative effort of 3 Ghent wargaming clubs: Gamers Guild, The Red Barons and Bylandt. Entrance is still a democratic 5€ and under 10’s accompanied by their parents get in free. We as Alde Garde will be there with our French Revolutionary game. Hope to see you there

Hi.

I’m really looking forward to visiting WarCon as well as having a weekend break in Gent.

I will be staying at a central Gent hotel and would be grateful if you could let me know which tram I should get to the show from Sint Pieter’s Station.

Hi Phil,

take the bus 41 (Merelbeke Kwenenbos) at Sint Pieter's station platform 10 (9:49, 10:07, 10:36 etc )
20 min drive to Merelbeke Molenhoek (16th stop)
then a 10 min walk (700m) along Poelstraat and Kloosterstraat
