The title pretty much sums it up.
Here's literally the first two castings only undercoated(for now).
I picked them up at York on Sunday.
The moulds need a little snagging (hence the undercoat) otherwise they're pretty much production pieces.
I'll be adding some colour soon . Due to a self inflicted injury resulting from socially irresponsible town planning. ( the invisible axe in my head has gone and my kidneys no longer feel like they're trying to kick their way out.) I've lost the beginning of the week. So I'm a little behind schedule.

Saw this in 'the flesh' on Sunday and it is superb 8)
Apologies, again, for dropping part of it (and I was sober!)
-
Stunning bit of work well done : )
-
Looks great!
I never realized I needed an airboat until I saw this, now I can hardly wait for it to be available :)
-
I am so getting one of these. Or two.
WOOOO!
-
That is simply awesome :-*
-
These look fantastic! Unfortunatly I have absolutely no use for them......unless I added skis and then they would work on snow!
-
Cheers chaps,
There's also a ww1 areo engine powered one, that's even more Pulp.(just waiting to hit the casting rota.)
Dags, I wouldn't worry about it. When the fire alarm went off some numpty kicked them down the steps almost to the track side.I was pretty much brain dead by the end of the show, alot of people throwing a lot of ideas/requests,and information my way in such a short period of time.
(plus..The night out in York did for us all .)
Sunjester,
There's fair few Canadians on here who could fill in the details. The idea for airboats is to have a multi use model for different terrain themed games.Im planning on playing. Mad Maximillian meets ghost archipelago. Racing round swamps and islands on something that can take short cuts ,and doesn't just crash but sinks.
I'm not planning in deepest darkest Africa on paddling my way Up River in a canoe. I can have removable cargos and heavy weapon systems. Not just a stick with a flatten out end .
Nor for my planned snow bound train game(no where near finished) will everyone arrive on skis.

I've not managed to find any additional time to paint the dammed things . But I've a couple of the new aircraft mounts I've been badgered by laffer's to make .
So I've sneaked five minutes to play around with them.

Nice work but where is the adorable/ somewhat cretinous looking child and his pet bear?

Where can I purchase these?
-
I 2nd the question: Where can I buy the aircraft mg mounts?
-
They'll be in the Follies range at 1st corps miniatures.although cast they're due for release . You could email Simon, and Mick.(although a reply may take some time as they're snowed under at the moment.)

As I mentioned in another thread I've managed to fit a little bit of painting in this weekend .So here's a couple of picks. I also thought it made a great transport for cultists.

Love it 8)
See you at Hammerhead?
