I've finished off some new walls for the Chinese range. There will be a new website shopping trolly by the end of the month when they will go in but for the meantime contact me here or at the usual email address. I'm currently working a fully painted set for display and I'll change the photos over when they are done.
The catalogue section for the other Chinese items is below.
http://www.oshiromodelterrain.co.uk/chinese.html (http://www.oshiromodelterrain.co.uk/chinese.html)
First off is the moongate £10
(http://leadadventureforum.com/gallery/31/2619-160218051921.jpeg)
Then there's a ruined section £10
(http://leadadventureforum.com/gallery/31/2619-160218051955.jpeg)
A half length section £4
(http://leadadventureforum.com/gallery/31/2619-160218052018.jpeg)
And finally for now there are some columns £6 for the pair.

I'm also working on some all Chinese brick versions and some barricades to complement them.

Great looking gate and walls, sure to popular :)

Excellent. :-* Other than perhaps the Moongate, the rest can work for a whole lot of other periods as well.

Potentially Gary, yes.
-
Very nice as always! I think I went to a Chinese Restaurant once that had a gate like that! Seriously...
-
Looking good, Jim. :)

I am seing the scene from Full Metal Jacket where Joker and Dallas meets up in Vietnam.

I will post mine complete version next week 8)

They look lovely Paul 8)

Very nice job on those walls. They look a lot sturdier (physically and aesthetically) than the mdf ranges I've seen. I might have to pick some up myself now!

They have a pleasing amount of texture.
-
They have a pleasing amount of texture.
Yes, I think that's a key thing for me with the mdf stuff, it's often difficult to get past the lack of texture. I've added my own with filler and sandpaper in the past,
(Old West rendered stuff), but when these are available I'm thinking, just get them!
-
Nice work on those,they look great,different tile colour,not terra-cotta red,is a change too :)
-
.........I've added my own with filler and sandpaper in the past,.......
Sandpaper........what a simple and brilliant idea! Thanks.
Of course having the model pre-textured is much better.

Finished the 'posh' house master and it'll be moulded next week and released early next month. CR04 - £22.50
Got a couple more buildings o the go as well but more on those later :)

Splendido :-*

That looks very good to me; I like the exposed stone work.
-
Thanks gents :)

I like it a lot James! :-*

Your buildings are so accurate, neat and well made. I wish you did some middle eastern / mediterranean stuff.
A question - is there a narrative behind those circular chinese gateways? Or is it just aesthetics?
-
Splendid work Oshiro, not just with the model making but the painting too. I think I need some of these in my life when they are released!
-
Thank you gents :)
Got a few more new 28mm releases ready to go in the catalogue this weekend (they are currently in their respective moulds).

A question - is there a narrative behind those circular chinese gateways? Or is it just aesthetics?
It's a bit anachronistic as they were mainly for the larger gardens but it's proven popular :)

Got a couple more wall sections done and ready. We are finally having a shopping cart added to the website in a couple of days and these will be added to that as opposed to the normal catalogue.

Currently working on goods and barricades to go with these :)
-
Will you be doing wall sections with buildings such as seen in the skirmish in the monastery at the end of the Sand Pebbles?
-
Never seen the film I’m afraid but if you have a link to some photos I’ll certainly have a look about doing something :)
-
Beautiful stuff Oshiro! I’m going to have to get a set of these!
-
Beautiful work James on the buildings and walls.
Best wishes,
Helen
-
Thanks :)

These new wall sections are now 'live'.

I decided to paint the famous Oshiro Walls in a different style. I wanted to use them in many places-not only in China or 55 days. So, there you are!
-
Nice 8)
I’ve got some peninsular walls being done at the moment because (like yourself) I realised that they could be used elsewhere :)
-
So, these wonderfully ssculpted walls can be used in the Napoleonic Peninsula, or in a Pirate Game, or even in an Oriental Colonial from Chartum to Afghan theatre, and many more! ;)
-

GREAT ! They can be used almost everywhere.
-
Miltiades, you did it! Well done!
I'm very happy we will enjoy them in our next game!

Rather happy to announce that I've got some more Japanese packs for the Boxer Rebellion figure range I've got.
Firing/loading and casulties. I've also updated the photos for the rest of the figures in the range. As with the other packs they come supplied with separate heads and backpacks.

We will have limited supply at Salute (just a quick set of spins to keep me going) so place a pre-order (using the Salute pick up option in the shopping trolly) to avoid disappointment :)
-
They're nice and characterful :)
-
I had decided to not add to my Japanese. Hmmmmmmm
-
Nice looking minis 👍🏻
I’m also intrigued by the Peking walls for The Peninsula War 8)
-
Very nice James. Something else to add to the temptation list :)
-
Love them James, well done.
-
Thanks chaps and Helen :)
Will hopefully have some armed naval figures and potentially some 'action' posed infantry in May.
I’m also intrigued by the Peking walls for The Peninsula War 8)
A few peninsular looking wall sections that can be used with the more standard Chinese ones coming after Salute.
-
Nice, very useful for VSF too, I'm guessing?

They could be useful for Hue too, especially with all the figures coming out soon?
-
Thanks chaps and Helen :)

Good news James on the naval infantry and standard infantry.
-
Thanks again :)
Nice, very useful for VSF too, I'm guessing?
Very much so (although I’ve got loads of Copplestone Chinese to finish off for my VSF first lol).
Good news James on the naval infantry and standard infantry.
I might even do some ‘green’ photos when they’re ready :)
-
I like these, especially the variety of poses. Seeing your figures in the flesh, these pics don't do them justice.
Good to know there's more in the pipeline.
-
Thanks cheeks :D
I've got some barricades/firing steps and a ramshackle artillery platform ready in the webshop (link below). Only the front pictures here otherwise there would be too many but there are some photos at the bottom of them 'in use'.

-
They look great, very useful :-* :-* :-*
-
Those look very useful, sure to be popular :-*
-
Very nice indeed. I like setting up barricades in games. Lots of fun to be had in organising a good looking defence position. The artillery platform is tastier good. ;D

Thanks chaps :)

Great looking additions - plenty of uses

Thanks chaps :)
Like the barricades. As you do commission painting in any case could put a painted price on your website the same way say Grand Manner does?
-
Thanks.
I used to have a supply (or paint on demand depending on sales) and had prices on the website for that but I've got over 200 products now and it would take too much time as I'm busy with commission work most of the time.
I can still do it but it depends on how busy I am with other things.
-
I couldn't resist the new commercial building. The quality was great as always but what really blew me away was that my order arrived on Guam in under a week! Great product and great service.
-
Glad you like it Lon but thank the postal service, I only took it round the corner to the post office lol
-
James,
You might be surprised how difficult that seems to be for some places that I have ordered! :?
Lon
-
I might have to buy some of your Japanese just so I can paint their little shoes on their backpacks...

Oooh shiny, I might have to have a couple of those collapsed end sections for my Peninsular collection. ;D
-
Nice! Another good one for the Hue gamers too there I think.

Thanks :)

Three new Chinese wall sections are now available . I wanted to get them done a bit earlier but they were delayed a little bit.
There's a ruined corner, a short gateway and an almost full length wall ruin.

Beautifully painted scenery. Those doors are a wonderful red.
Just a thought but they look very useable for Hue and urban Vietnam gaming. I've seen photos of different coping types so they could look great on a Hue board.
-
Great additions 8)
-
Brilliant as usual!
-
Many thanks chaps :)
