Title: Some 15mm village bases
Post by: OSHIROmodels on February 17, 2018, 12:06:53 PM
Got some 15mm scale village bases done the other week using the buildings from the catalogue linked below.

http://www.oshiromodelterrain.co.uk/catalogue15.html#post_town (http://www.oshiromodelterrain.co.uk/catalogue15.html#post_town)

Also did some small paddy fields that could push for 28mm at a stretch. I think I'l do a few sets of 15mm additions but they'll differ form the 28mm range due to the amount of detail.

The figures are based on 25mm squares (cavalry on 30mm) and I'm also writing a simple set of rules but they are very much wip at the moment.

They look great.

May I ask what product you used for the water effects?

Thanks  :)

It's just normal water based clear varnish (diy shop stuff). I usually use yacht varnish but it dried up.

Well, not to give too much away but there will be attacking commanders and defending commanders; attacking on 25mm round and defending on probably 40mm round (to be able to make a little scene).
