It’s interesting to see Pulp Alley played essentially as  a straight-up skirmish, and how well it works like that.

  Entertaining game. But it brought to mind one of those existential questions about the game. Of course, I don't know what the set-up rules are for this scenario, but typically it's 1d6 + 6 pieces, and the players take turns placing them. I think we mostly ignore that rule, and instead one person sets up something that looks nice, and then afterwards players jiggle stuff to make it work. I imagine that's what you did for this cute little town but, any comments?
