Title: Chain of Command Battle Report
Post by: Rob_bresnen on February 19, 2018, 01:20:23 PM
I have posted a brief battle report for a Chain of Command game I played last week over on my Blog.

Here are a few pictures to wet your apatite...

Interesting report.  I just wonder why the Germans deployed so early, why didn’t they wait until the Shermans appeared and then deploy the PzIV? As the defender I would expect their tanks to get off the first shots.

Of course having three or four consecutive phases helped the US!

I must confess I sometimes struggle to restrain myself from getting my toys on the table? Even though I have endured the psychological trauma of advancing down a table seemingly devoid of GI's waiting each phase for a hail of .30 cal or Garand fire.....

I do think that chain of command is the best game for creating that level of uncertainty. You just never know where the enemy are hiding until you see the muzzle flash.

Absolutely! Bearing in mind I play Panzergrenadiers and I had armoured support....it made me extremely cautious!
