Not my KS, but I'm a shameless fanboy for Bronze Age Miniatures, and this is David's new KS, just started today for a gorgeous collection of Viking types.

Nothing wrong with being a fan boy for figures this good.
There seems to be a glut of female Vikings at present.  The good thing is that they are in sensible clothing.

my guess is we have more female Viking miniatures out now than there were actual female Vikings. :D

I like them.  If they were for sale, I'd certainly blow the money to buy them.
But it's a KS, so I won't touch it.

David is a one-man show, the sculpts are completed, and he even does the casting himself, apart from the big resin guy. Fear not!

Dave is great to deal with and his sculpts are top notch...Nobody sculpts Vikings better than Dave..

I don't know how I missed this thread! My apologies to all for cluttering up the board with duplicate topics about this Kickstarter.

To say I am excited is an understatement. Hopefully we can get enough people exited to get us to unlock some of those stretch goals!

You know, I really think David should offer bigger discounts for the bigger pledge levels. I understand that a man has to eat etc. and that he likely created the sets based on the figures in a single mold to simplify the packing etc. However, my guess is that these figures will eventually make it to his webstore for $7 a piece individually.

 There are some sets where I really only want one or two of the sculpts, and knowing that I will be able to pick them up from him eventually for $7 a piece and choose only the figures I want is not inspiring me to pledge more money right now. The $6 a piece now but I can't buy just the figures I want just doesn't seem like a big enough incentive to spend now rather than wait and pay $7 a piece for the clear standouts.

I'm easily tempted, so if the price per figure dropped for larger pledge levels, it would be more appealing to just get all the stuff I want now, even if it includes some miniatures I wouldn't buy individually, because they are a good deal, so I don't really mind.

It just seems like he is missing out on the sales advantage of bundles.

I sure hope we make the first freebie stretch goal! That gal looks very nice. He said in the comments that you only need to pledge at the $30 level to qualify for stretch goals.

I'm curious, which set does everyone think is the absolute best (if you had to pick just one)? For me I think that the female set 1 are the best from a technical perspective, great dynamic poses, characterful, well sculpted.

My next favorite would be the males set 1. The only thing I don't like about that one is the closed hand of the middle guy.

I think the single most characterful sculpt is Brenna the troll hunters.

I'm in for the lot. Crouching guy w axe and dagger is an amazing sculpt. They are all pretty damn nice!

The trolls are a $24 add on it looks like, I have asked in the comments if you can please for them alone, but no word yet.

I sent a message and was told that it would be possible to choose them as a Pack option.
