This has probably been asked before. But my searches turn up empty.
Does anyone know where to buy TV sattelite dishes and antennas? Alternatively have some guides to make your own.
-
Don't Crooked Dice sell the old Pardulon ones now?
-
I can only find the one huge one. I am not looking for interstellar communications. Just a TV- dish.
-
Dunno then mate :?
-
Empress do some small ones. I think they're in their generic moderns section of their website.
-
Bingo!
In the builders yard at Empress. Thanks.
If anyone know of any other please do share. Or if you have any nifty tips and tricks to make your own.

Ground Zero Games do smaller dishes in their 15mm Roof Fittings A.

This 28mm Ainsty Utility Unit has had the smaller dish from this set added.

Roof Fittings A (2 large and 3 small Comms dishes, 4 enviro/power units)
Product Code: V15-BLD06
I will see if I can find the larger dish.

I’ve got a small dish, suitably for mounting on a house or RV out in a few months.
-
Empress have satellite dishes (and air con units] here http://www.empressminiatures.com/userimages/procart14.htm
-
I once made one by pressing GS half around a glass marble with some styrene for the antenna and frame.
-
Check out cheap toy sets, especially emergency vehicles & airport sets. They often have small dishes in them. I often find them at discount or dollar stores for $1 to $3.
-
Try Miniature Building Authority and Impudent Mortals. Both are great companies and people to deal with.

I have cut a section from a ping pong ball and then used plastic card to mount it on.

No idea why I haven’t got a photo there but if you’re interested, I’ll send you one (a photo, that is😊).

You can try to use some 1:35 modelling stuff like MAIM for example: https://www.modernarmies-in-miniatures.de/maim-catalog/maim-diorama-acc./satellite-antenna-set-1-35_maim-/-front46_maim35098.html
They are definitely not the cheapest option available but at least they do look good.
