Something a bit different from YG studios today.
It was about time I got some Cavalry for Mesopotamia, here is attempt No 1. Obscure figures from Minifigs of all people.
A nice addition to the collection but I will need a few more before they become useful. Wish there was more figures avaliable for WW1 in the East.

Só you’re with Hammers but you haven’t fucked? No need for an update. :)
Those Minifigs look rather good, I wouldn’t have guessed the figures’ provenance.

Cheers all, with or without the F word a compliment is always gratefully received :D

Very nice indeed Ken.
The lances look a bit long? Or maybe it is just the photo?

Nice looking unit! I see from your blog that you're looking for looking for other manufacturers
the only other ones I know of are Battle Honors from Old glory 15s

I only have their inf. and they fit in with woodbine oK just a bit smaller

Perrys Sudan Egyptian Cavalry are also available.

Not necessarily for the Eastern area but Tiger miniatures make the Turks in the 1909 uniform. http://www.tigerminiatures.co.uk/USERIMAGES/100_1728.JPG (http://www.tigerminiatures.co.uk/USERIMAGES/100_1728.JPG)

Excellent figures, Ken.

Yorkshireman to Yorkshireman, you understand.
I'm glad they don't make more / better figures. There are enough shiny drains emptying my wallet.
Nicely done.
