Title: Leopard Geckos - Northstar metal non-snake snakemen

Many a year ago, I had the fantastic idea of painting a Warhammer Lizardmen army in leopard gecko colours - which looked rather nice, but was a terrible plan given the sheer amount of black dots such a host would require the painting of. Got a few units done before hobby butterflying off into other projects, but when the new metal snakemen were shown, I thought I'd return to the idea, given that Frostgrave requires rather fewer models on the table! Some people disliked the more lizardy-look of the figures, but they looked perfect from my perspective. Another six to go, and might pick up the remaining two warrior packs later as they're rather nice sculpts indeed. Here's the first one, the treasure hunter (tomb robber in GA?):

Looks great! Makes me regret I didn't pick up any of the metals. Maybe I do need a sixth warband after all....

Having looked after a leopard gecko for 9 years I can confirm that they're very good paint jobs!

for me the sculpts look much more like a gecko than a snake.

I think I like them more as geckos than snakes...
