So good to see you back in the fray, Plynkes!
2 great entries!
-
By golly, those are both splendid!
Wonderful and unexpected Dylan. Sumptuously done :-*
Glad to see you still building your early Dark Ages collection, Jan :-*
What a face-off!
-
Yes, both very good entries indeed. Are the Elizabethans TAG figures?
-
Yes indeed, TAG Renaissance range. Very painter-friendly, as it happens. I found them enjoyable figures to paint.
-
Two very exciting and beautifully painted entries - very hard to decide!
:-* :-*
-
Wow, absolutely brilliant entries guys! :-*
Tough as heck to make a choice here.
-
I think Queen Bess may hear a " Cunning plan"
-
Wow! What a match-up in the first round! :-*
Both amazing entries and photographs gents!
-
As others have said, these are both exquisite!
-
Oh, boy! What a difficult choice I have in front of me! On the one hand, I absolutely love the Elizabethan period, so to see such a great paint job on these TAG figures is definitely a plus. But on the other hand, I tend to love everything Hazel does, and even more so when the miniatures in question are from his Dark Ages project. Truly, both of you have done a superb job! :-* :-* :-*
Cheers and good luck!
-
What a gorgeous pair of entries! Both show wonderful shading and colors... :-*

Dylan, your entry is outstanding. The composition and the painting are much more inspiered than my Arthurians.
Well done mate! This white horse alone is so incredible.

Well that's a dilemma, fantastic entries!
Is that Blackadder and Percy? lol
-
Thanks, Jan. That means a lot coming from you. I'm a great admirer of your style and skill. You manage a crispness of contrast that has the figures leaping out of the photo. And that makes me very envious. :)
Is that Blackadder and Percy? lol
Aye, and Baldrick picking his nose behind them, too. :)

Interesting looking miniatures which you have painted beautifully.
-
Gentlemen, that is some seriously impressive painting and display. Tough choices right out of the gate!

Where is that dramatical 'shield-maiden' (warrior queen?) from, please?
