Title: Bright colour markings on olive drab US tanks?
Post by: Vanvlak on May 02, 2018, 06:27:56 PM
I'm assembling a small force of DUST U.S. walkers, and they're olive drab - and could end up being just that, a bit drab.
Are there any instances (historic) of bright markings on US tanks in WWII?

Following the Torch landings in late 1942, US tanks had yellow stripes around the turrets, with the stars being alternatively white or yellow.

A favourite combination of mine, I must say.

You could take some inspiration from the US ^th Medium Tank Battalion in the Korean war with their Tiger Face scheme. Certainly not drab.
