I thought I collect all my scifi efforts in one thread rather then in several . So from now on here are the new scifi figures I paint build and convert.

This is the next member of the 3rd Gruppe lead by Komtur ( sergeant) Karl. He is wearing MK III armor.
Next up will be some more Orks of the Waagh Dreambrakka and eventually some Imperial Guard units from the Germania sector with more scratch build armored support.

Looks cool! Is the shoulder pad design freehand? Looking forward to more, especially the scratch built bits!

The ATV “Ziege” (Chimera) of the 1st Germania Imperial Guard Regiment
To compliment my home-brew Space marine chapter ” Galactic Knights”, I want to do an imperial guard unit of the Germania system too.
The system consists of three habitable planets and one Death world. The planets are called Ruhr, Germania Prima, Germania Secunda and New Berlin. Ruhr is a forge world, Germania Prima is a death world, Germania Secunda is a agri world and New Berlin is a hive world. Further out from the systems sun are two Gas giants near the Mandeville point. The System was once colonised by the Galactic Knights chapter after destroying an Ork force on Germania Prima. The dialect spoken in the system is German. Of course High Gothic is the language of the Administratum of the System according to Imperial law. The Regiment was raised on Germania Secunda a long time ago.
The vehicles and the equipment of the Soldiers is manufactured locally on the forge world Ruhr. Therefore it differs from the equipment of other worlds imperial guard units quite a lot .
I used a real world vehicle of the German Bundeswehr as template for the “Ziege”. The vehicle is called Boxer.

The armored transport vehicle, short GTK Boxer is a wheeled armored vehicle. The special feature of the GTK Boxer is the construction of an eight-wheel drive module on which an exchangeable mission module is mounted.

Here are the first casts of the Ziege armored vehicle with APC module. This vehicle will be used as a Chimera in Warhammer 40k games.

Here is the first soldier ( Schütze) of the 1st Gruppe, 1st Zug , 1st Kompanie of the 1st Germania imperial Guard Regiment. The Germania System, home of the Galactic Knights space marine Chapter, consists of three habitable planets and one Death world. The 1st Germania belongs to the so called “Landwehr” of the Germania System and is part of the Imperial Guard. There is a System defense force also wich is stationary in system in contrast to the Landwehr Rgt.s wich will be used anywhere in the Imperium of man. Most of the time the Landwehr operates in the same campaigns as the Galactic knights .

I finished the Kompaniemeister or short Meister of the second Gefechtskompanie of the Galactic knights space marine chapter of the Ordo teutonics. The Kompaniemeister is the equivalent of a captain in other chapters. So here is Bruder Thomas 2nd Kompaniemeister of the Ordo Teutonicus Galactic Knights.

That is a nice model.
I have always felt that a wheeled APC in plastic would be good, either from the Great Womble or someone else.
The Great Womble MRAP does not count.

As you might remember I scratch build the “Ziege” APC for my imperial guard army. As this vehicle is build to be modular I can use the running gear to accommodate other payloads. The next payload is a self propelled howitzer module. It is called “Bär” (bear) in this configuration. It will be used as a stand in for a Basilisk in Warhammer40K games.

not entirely convinced of the practicality of that platform in handling the power or mass of the weapon - but hey its a game!

Nice piece of kit and well within the 40k aesthetics. It could do with some shock-absorbing support legs or maybe a recoil earthblade at the rear, FWIW/FMT.
