Close, but the superior basing in the top photo won it for me.

Happy days - a Perry Wars of the Roses face-off. How serendipitous :D
Both nicely done :)
For anyone interested in the bloody, Machiavellian career of Rhys ap Thomas, I recommend Dr Susan Fern's 'The man who killed Richard III'. A good read which tells you a lot more about the grisly, brutal, treacherous ins-and-outs of the period than any number of Ospreys :)

Damn, another close one. I do like both and can’t really decide... o_o

To be fair Ospreys never told a lot about any period :)
They are more of a primer although sometimes with genre building illustrations of the giants like McBride.
But interesting book recommendations are always good thing.

That for me, plus a darker, more menacing atmosphere in the photo that suits the period. But nothing that tells the paint jobs apart, both excellent.
