Just started reading about the Apache from this period, your models look just like I imagined them ferocious varmints!
This is really really nice :-* Great work!
I always wanted to sculpt Apache from that period, even before I started doing the plain indians ;) Now I want to again :D
Excellent! Right up my street :-*
Mine too ;D
Great idea Rui, now where can you get suitable Mexicans ??? ;) lol
Apaches sculped by you ? They would be most welcome. ;)
I always liked apaches above all other tribes.
Thanks Nick and James. :)
Nick, its not like yours. Its a more modest one. ;)
Thanks guys. :)
Now they need some painting before i transform more figures.
I especially like the second one :-*
I've had a few of Rui's painted figures in the past, the piccys don't do justice to the standard of his painting, it's top notch...
the Apache Chief looks a cracking figure, well done matey.
Lovely stuff Rui. I like the Red Rover in his dress uniform :-*
Thank you all. :)
That one was half painted many years ago and i repainted it. It looks better now. :D
I may convert 1 or 2 more Renegade acw figures to do more Alabama Red Rovers in that uniform.
And some more updates.
A Boot Hill figure with a head from a friend and some green stuff.
Love the bugler conversion, nice additions Rui :)
Nice work Rui, I said to myself I don't recall producing a bugler!
You're on a roll! Cracking stuff.
I think those Darkest Africa tribesmen turned Apaches are a triumph. I would never have thought of converting them, they are so convincing. :)
