Title: 28mm British Royal Marine
Post by: dominic on February 26, 2007, 10:18:45 AM
Look at this fantastic green from Sacred Blade miniatures.
It has not yet been released, but the notes say it is true 28mm to appeal to gamers as well as figure painters:

*gasp*  :o

Jolly good, ol´ chap!

I´m not too firm on modern British uniforms, though - is this a "current" uniform or an older pattern, IE maybe usable for the Falklands War (which is another interest of mine... :D )

This is Afghanistan/Iraq current by the looks of it.

The SA80 is a dead give away, as is the combat vest and tactical net. The Falklands was fought with the SLR (FN-FAL) - on both sides I believe.

HTH.
