Title: Jonah, the Scarred Man and Calamity Jane

'Jonah the Scarred Man' and 'Calamity Jane' are some nice wee additions to Great Escape Games' 'Dead Man's Hand' range. The quality of sculpting around the face is very good indeed on both mins. Also, I enjoyed the chance to play with textures by painting the tatty buckskins, particularly on Jane.

Top paint jobs, the flesh on the scarred man is especially good.

Thanks guys, most kind. They're good fun mins to paint to be honest, the kind yu just sort of speed through because it's so much fun to work on.

Spoken like a true painter. You focus on the small stuff, like me, the subtle bits that take ages to get looking realistic enough that they don't get noticed! Over-sculpted feathers on models are a bugbear of mine. I don't like seeing the lines on them because, unless it's a particularly scraggly example, you can't see them on a real feather. So I tried to hint at the texture next to the quill and then let them face away. Took me ages for very little gain, but it turned out how I wanted.
