In connection with the impending publication of the first English edition of Clausewitz's history of Napoleon's 1796 campaign in Italy, a set of nine operational-level scenarios is now freely available online via the BBB Yahoo group:
https://uk.groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/BBB_wargames/info
Easy to set up and quick to play, these present fascinatingly different challenges from the usual tabletop battle, and provide real insight and understanding of how and why the campaign took the course it did.
The first five are playtested and give excellent games. The later four are yet to be tested but updated versions will be uploaded as they become ready.
(See announcement about the book here:)

I,m interested in the scenarios , Chris , do we have to join the Yahoo Group to access them ?
-
Hi Belisarius, thanks for the question. Yes, you do need to be a member of the group to get access to the scenarios. I hope that's not too much of a technical hurdle.

They look interesting and I do actually have 1796 French and Austrians ... in 25mm. have to see if I can make BBB work with 25mm basing
-
Thanks, Stecal. 25mm, eh? I've been using 2mm. The Corlears Hook Fencibles in New York use 15mm. You can see how they look here:

I don't know how many 25s you'd fit on a 2"x2" unit base: maybe 9 infantry, 3 cavalry? I guess that would be OK, though it would be hard to make the Apennines look like a very daunting obstacle by comparison. But hey, why not try it? I'd be interested to see photos of how it looks!

I've got 10mm for 1866 - I'll stick to that I think. BBB is a great game, btw.

Cheers, Stecal, very kind of you to say so!
For the 1796 games, I dug out my 2mm from 10 years ago because they suited the operational scale and were conveniently based on 2"x2" already.
Most of my collection is 6mm but if I were to start again, I think I'd go with 10mm.

Most of mine is 15mm but I'd go 10mm too. Of course, the Fencibles scream if I mention smaller scales; fading eye-sight on most of the lads. Some think we should rename ourselves the Gentlemen Pensioners.
