I have platoon of the old BAM (Bolt Action Miniatures) germans that are unfortunately oop. Since they are in dire need of some Support (namens PAK) I must mix them with other manufacturers. As the old BAM are a bit on the smaller side I was wondering if the Perry germans might be comparable in size? Or would they mix with the new Warlord figured?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would go with Perry.
The new Warlord are positively awful. Gurning facial sculpts, out of proportion arms that only a gorilla could love; the list of issues continues.
Be grateful you have the real gold that BAM pre-Warlord was! I’m maybe a bit jealous...

I partly disagree Grant. Not all of their mini's are bad. I've got a couple of metals which are pretty decent (the winter Germans are pretty cool).

You could also go with Empress Miniatures Germans. Same sculptor.

Good one, Paul. lol

Thank you for reminding me of the Empress range, Paul! They will work well to beef up some squads. What I‘m still missing are a pak 36 and a pak 38 (and ideally some artillery). It‘s really a shame Warlord discontinued your BAM miniatures.

Rubicon have PaK 36/8 and 40 AT guns and an 88 on the way.
The crew are however rather delicate compared to the old BAM figures, they should be compatible with Perry.

Warlord has a bad habit of buying ranges and then making them crap. Literally.

Gurning facial sculpts
metal faces can be and are quite odd on some models. but an easy fix is replacing with plastic heads. they usually aren't as bad. heck at least its not like the original metal Japanese...those were...well to be honest they were plain racist.
but some of the latest metals aren't too bad. and for things like AT guns its likely you'll never look at the faces much.

They were SO racist!
Agree on the head replacement.
Or... avoid Warlord and just buy better figures.
It’s a shame they killed the original sculpts. Those are like gold today.

I would be careful, i've found that the old bolt action are definitely smaller than newer bolt action, in some cases the gap isn't too pronounced, in other cases like the old chindits and the newer Australians, they are pretty much different scales(ive heard that the sculptor of the newer aussies is used to 32mm) I wouldn't mix those two latter ranges.
Personally I'd go with empress, and if on a budget, empress for hq/specialists and warlord for line infantry.
