Title: Amunabkiya's Descent to Fantasy
Post by: Amunabkiya on August 12, 2018, 05:10:19 PM
Long time lurker - first time poster. After years of admiring painted miniatures and reading war games rulesets and roleplaying source books without anyone to play with, I decided to begin the hobby of painting miniatures. There is no project attached to these, they are merely my attempts to recreate some of the well-painted examples displayed upon this forum and whet my appetite for a hobby that is out of reach.

The majority of the miniatures painted here are from the defunct game "Arcane Legions". The human figures scale 1:72.  I was able to buy a great number of these figures on clearance for around $10.  The single female character is a Reaper Bones 'Michelle.

Great stuff - I especially like the green troll (?)!

Any chance of bigger photographs?

If you really can't find other players where you live, have you considered the various solo (or solo-compatible) rules out there? Ganesha's Sellswords and Spellslingers is one example, and there are lots from Two Hour Wargames - some of them free, I think.
