I am in New Zealand and currently struggling to find a company to buy Supers and Villains from.
I've checked out
Reaper Chronoscope [ But postage was worth more than the order I was placing. US reaper]
Old Glory Super figs [ But postage was worth more than the order I was placing. US ]
Crossover Miniatures [But postage was worth more than the order I was placing. US]
You see a pattern forming here???? its real hard to buy minis when your paying $30USD for the minis and then $45 to $75USD in shipping costs.
So if anyone out there knows of an Australasian supplier/stockist etc can you let me know.

As it happens I’m in Australia on holiday at the moment and stumbled on Mind Games in Melbourne who stock Reaper. Maybe they could help you out?

Reaper has (or had?) setup an AU Office. Mainly for the purpose of fulfilling their next (in process) Kickstarter. Order through them? (Edit: maybe it was sort of a joint venture with Victoriaminiatures? But maybe that has expired... :-X )

I've checked Mightyape NZ but their range is pretty limited.
table top empires do not have the Super hero range from Reaper.

I'm in NZ as well, I find I wait some time to purchase from Reaper and take advantage of their free shipping (I think it is a pretty hefty purchase though $100 AUD?)

I also have some Modern soldiers from the Warlord sprue sale. Enough to make 10 henchmen for my team and some Soldiers and Agents for my Son as I got 16 female survivors as well. So minions galore for both of us. I also ordered some gas masks from Anvil Industry so I can keep the mask theme for my force.

I know for a fact that there are a LOT of Aussies selling heroclix on eBay. You might have some luck there. It generally is easy (and affordable) to pick up odd lots of older heroclix that are a snap to convert into virutally any super-hero you can imagine. I've got tons of 'chop shop fodder' myself. Let me know if you have any trouble finding clix, but you should find some down in that area of Earth. If you have trouble, let me know via PM--I wouldn't mind one bit just giving you a bunch to get you started.

At this stage I have ordered some minis to get us started... I'd consider some heroclix minis but my painting skills are rather lacking. And recently I have found some old Heroclix that I had removed from their bases some years ago. Even found a Batman mini...
I might do some repaints on the other non-Batman minis for my Daughter.. will post pics once everything Arrives.

I think your correct as the mini definitely looks like the images I found.
And yes the Batman mini is nice I do recall that was the most expensive mini out of the lot [Not sure how much I did pay for it]

At toys stores int eh States there are figures called Nano Metal Figures that would work good with a bit of repainting. I am not sure if they are available in NZ or not at the local big box retail stores.
