A new cannon for the Boxer rebellion era, A Krupp C73 light cannon made for the German Cavalry [it has a seat either side of the barrel] but used by many nations including Turkey, China etc.
This is from victoriousminiatures.com we will be making a Chinese and German gun crew in the near future for this. Keith@VM

I plan to add "Betsy" the international cannon and some of the Heavy machine guns that were used by the garrison. Steve Cox is the designer and a first class chap he is as well.
Later this year we will have the first of the allied infantry, British light marines, French, German, Italian and of course American.
I hope to do a set of characters based on the film "55 days in Peking" ;) so keep an eye out.
We will also be adding to the Chinese range, Cixi and her bodyguards, Court nobles / Generals, civilians etc but doubt that these will be ready before the new year.
cheers

Thanks Helen and JB
I went down to the colours show in Newbury [England] and met for the first time Mart who sculpts the Chinese for me, oddly we had not met face to face before just email and letters.
He now has started on Cixi and her bodyguards Prince Tuan, General Roglue, peasants and wounded boxers [Apologies if my spelling of the names is a bit off]
We also hope to have a small range of Chinese carts and a wheel barrow in MDF, their are some new Chinese buildings also in MDF coming out soon[ but these from a friend].

Very interested in the new figs and also the prospect of some met buildings
-
How are the new sculpts coming along?
-
I have six of the new dolls from the sculptor plus heads and weapons, now need to get a master mould made asap and send lots of bits back to him for the next step.
It all takes time but by end of year several new figures, Infantry, gunners and officers.

Have now got "Betsy" the international cannon, thought up by an American and British marine, Barrel smooth bore possibly British, spare wheels from Italian cannon, shells from Russian gun left behind in Tiensin and frame from a timer joist. It worked fairly well.
Also in stock the American Colt machine gun, crews for both later this year.

Victorious miniatures.

Was that Colt MG the type known as the "potato digger"? I might have use for a couple of them...
-
Yes its the potato digger, I just read that myself.
They went on to remove the wheels and add a tripod, it was the used in WW1.
