I seem to recall seeing figures that were similar(but not exactly like) Stranger Things, ie doglike with meaty flower heads( for want of a better description!)
My friend is looking for some suitable figures to be painted as a gift for her daughter.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You might want to look at the Creeper plant monsters from Crooked Dice.

There were exact copies being done by Nexus miniatures who have since rebranded as Y.F.T. Designs and have the minis for pre-order. Fair warning though the company seems fairly dodgy and amassed quite the thread here before the owner rebranded and ignored a C&D regarding his Red Dwarf minis...
Pre-order at own risk! (https://yft-designs.ecwid.com/#!/The-Strangers-plus-their-Arch-Enemy-the-Demon-Gorgon/p/70918811/category=30785019)

I can only imagine how much money Mirliton has made off of this. Good on them for keeping it to the old price!
