We hope to fund a brand new 7TV boxed set - 7TV:Apocalypse - to expand our cinematic skirmish rules into the post-apocalyptic (PA) genre. This is supported with over a hundred 28mm miniatures.
Crooked Dice already publish 7TV - wargaming in the world of cult tv. These fun and flexible skirmish rules allow you to recreate any type of cinematic action on the tabletop. For the past eighteen months, we have been working on expanding 7TV into other settings - and the first is the wide-ranging post-apocalyptic genre!
As the scope of 7TV:Apocalyspe is so broad, miniatures are not included in the boxed set. However, we are supporting the campaign with over one hundred 28mm post-apocalyptic miniatures. There are ten different sets (casts) to choose from and more unlocked as the campaign progresses.

Here's a question I have about 7TV in general: Are there any rules/options for solo play vs some sort of AI? Some google searching suggests there may have been some sort of AI deck for ZombieTV, but that seems to be based off the first edition. Can anyone clear this up for me?

These look amazing! Very tempted by several of the sets but alas, money is very tight at the moment. Forgive my ignorance but do the miniatures from the kickstarter go on general sale when it finishes or are they exclusive?

No worries. Everything is planned to go into retail in the spring.
The free miniatures in the campaign won’t be available to buy in the pledge manager stage once the KS closes and are only available to Dead Set pledges and above. But they will go into retail like all the rest.

I am not aware of any distributor that carries Crooked Dice products here in the U.S. The Kickstarter is very tempting, but the Dead Set pledge is about $100 before shipping. I just can't bring myself to spend that much on a game that doesn't have a campaign system or solo play. These are essential things for someone like me who often times finds it hard to find someone to play against.

An order just shipped out to Chris this morning with a box of rules stock. It depends which cards you are after.

That's why I never got around to picking up 7TV before this Kickstarter, despite having a large amount of interest.

I can skip the core 7TV Boxed set and 16 metal minis (two starter casts) to the US for $107. The box is heavy at 1.2kg with 150 profile cards, two rules books, acrylic tokens and templates etc. The box alone costs £15 to ship to rest of the world. I have tried to price it as fairly as I can afford. I would like to think that the physical production is comparable in quality to some bigger players, but for all that gloss, I am still a small-press publisher, so simply don't have their volumes and economy of scale of bigger companies. Sorry!
But everyone's cash is hard-earned, so you have the free download of the game if the price is too steep. There's a wealth of games to be played with 7TV beyond spy-fi, so hopefully hours and hours of play. And if you do like it and play it a lot, then you can always upgrade to a box at a later date.

Time traveling Evil group finds out they aren't as bad as they thought...

You don’t need the original 7TV set to play Apocalypse, but it’s 100 per cent compatible.

I'm not in this one, but my 7th Voyage rules and supplements are among the best gaming I've ever had. Just a great system, and usable for just about everything my fevered brain can imagine. Good luck!

Simian minions. I love those guys. Easily the best Planet of the Apes figures I've seen. Would love to see some more of these some day. Mounted gorilla with a big hat would rock!

VEHICLE COMBAT OVERVIEW
No post-apocalyptic game would be complete without the white line nightmare of duelling biker gangs or an armoured bus fleeing from a zombie horde. So in addition to the basic skirmish rules 7TV Apocalypse ALSO allows full contact vehicle combat!
