Title: My miniatures and scenery for Frostgrave
Post by: gonediving on October 21, 2018, 05:27:14 PM
Hi everyone,

I want to use this thread to share some of my miniatures and terrain-pieces for Frostgrave.
While not yet having played a game I love the theme of the game.

Right now I'm still figuring out how to take good pictures (difficult after moving into a new flat).

Nice figures. Like the colours of your cultists. Inspired by the possessed, i think.

Welcome to the forum.

Wow, quite an introduction! This is some very inspirational stuff.

What you need for better photographs is more light. Two high lumen lamps on the sides of the are where you take the photos. Or a light box. I got mine from China for about a tenner.

Thank you for the suggestion - I might have to look into this.
Before moving I was able to take pictures only with daylight (see attachment).

In the new flat I did not yet find a spot  maybe this was one of the few advanteges of living under a roof - having windows in the roof providing good light. ^^

lovely ruins pieces.

Thank you - they alle are from fantasystones.de.

I'm quite happy with them and they are easy to build.
What I like most about it is that they have a nice thickness for the walls - unlike most plastic kits I've seen.

Nice ruins, are they resin or MDF?

They are made of plaster - but you don't need to pour it yourself.
You can buy kits (fantasystones.de) that you have to assemble with woodglue.
