Lovely day outside, so I decided to go out and take a couple of pictures of things I've been painting recently.
WSD wasps

Killer B Hydrus

and a bunch of Ramshackle Mutant Plants (which are really nice!)

Hm, lovely day outside - perfect to stay indors and look at the forum! lol
Those plants are indeed nice. Where are they from?

:o
Coooooool.......Looking great !!
Do they talk ??
FEEEEED MEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Nice :) I already have the Ramshackle plants. I really do need some giant wasps...
-
I have the giant wasps, currently sitting wingless and have been for 18 months as I found them a complete b*tch to put together. One day...
Been meaning to pick up some of those mutant plants for ages, they look great there. In fact, they all look great. The Hydrus are really nice. :) Really like the colour of your bases too.
-
hahahahahah very cool stuff!!! specially the mutant plants lol
-
Nice. I like the background, cool looking rock. Makes the models look really alien!

To Doomhippie: check Ramshackle_Curtis' signature.
To JollyBob: about the wings, yeah, I know. Pinning and two part epoxy help a lot (I use two part epoxy to glue just about everything these days..)
To Orctrader: you know need them, they're excellent. Now that I have them, although they're both really nice, I wish I had ordered more of the "non-flying-base" -versions. I used magnets to attach them to the flying bases, and the models are just too heavy for the magnets I had then. The fixed-base versions are much more handy.
The Hydrus are waiting for my Star Trek (by Matakishi) stuff to arrive, and I already ordered more carnivorous plants, from WSD this time, so I feel a "carnivorous jungle" -scenario coming up. I was rather hoping to run this next time we go to my friends summer house, but that's in two weeks time so I won't be able to finish everything by then (Last trip there http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=7186.msg79544#msg79544 (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=7186.msg79544#msg79544)).
Thanks all,
Marko

I normally don't like wasps (because of arguing over a jam sandwich with one as a kid), but for yours I'll make an exception.
I recall being tempted by those Ramshackle plants and I thought I'd managed to resist them, thank goodness my wallet is out of reach at the moment. lol

Yes, feckin things!
One was hiding in my beer can many years ago at an army barbecue and sneaked out and stung me inside my mouth. Obviously a case of spending too much time eating and not enough drinking, or he'd never have got in >:(
To paraphrase Roger Waters (ex) of Pink Floyd: "My head swelled just like a balloon." :'(
I've loathed them ever since lol
Yours, however, are splendid. Reminds me of the Dr Who episode. One day I might invest in some.......
