Great work! Being used to 28mm I‘m always amazed what others achieve in smaller schales.
Also an excellent read with loads of details on the regiments and their uniforms. I really enjoyed it.

Lovely work as always!

3 x excellent battalions, I,m a big fan of potted histories and enjoyed your blog .

Cheers chaps! I forgot to say what the patch on the back of the bearskins looked like, so will amend that later (once I've had a look at the models).

Jemima, I love this series of regimental potted histories and I would be in heaven if my ageing 25mm minifigs could look half as impressive as your 15mm beauties. The Irish regiment and regiment d'midi will soon be taking their place in my french army in Spain after reading this latest chapter. Look forward to more.

25mm Minifigs Napoleonics are what got me into wargaming. They belonged to my mate's dad and his games and ideas still inspire me 30 years later. God he could paint...
That's very kind of you and while I can't guarantee the accuracy, that's what I based the painting on! I do remember that the details came from a superb series of articles by John Cook, who was The Man when it came to Napoleonics back in the Dawn of the Internet and early incarnations of The Napoleon Series website
It's occurred to me that I didn't include details of the all-important patch on the back of the grenadier bearskins, so I'll dig that out later! :)
