Just starting the detailing on the Rebel Troop Transport.  I guess the Imperials have hijacked it!:)

Thanks!  It was inspired by a troop transport image I found which was coloured white and gray with some steel blue stripes which I quite liked!

That ship is cracking, but your paint jobs on your Boba Fett and Scouts is amazing! :-*

That's the Boba Fett from Fantasy Flight Games for Star Wars Legion, Legion is about 35mm, so unfortunately just a bit too big if you want to use it with 28mm stuff  >:(

It is indeed!  Really fun to paint too.  A nice mixture of cloth and armour.  Lots of colour variation.  It is 35mm.  Normally I wouldn't use anything this big but I figured I'll never use them with anything other than Star Wars gaming and I don't have any smaller minis SW already... So what the hell.

Oh!  I just watched Force Awakens again last night and the ship is the one Leia comes out of when she sees Han.  Mine certainly isn't identical:)

Mr Tough Guy, Fantasy Flight games also have a version of Bobba Fett for Imperial Assault and it scales well for 28mm.

Did some weathering on the transport.  A little more mini's painting as well.  The evil Empire looking cat is a Shapeways "Mel's Miniatures".  Broke off his light sable but have since added a new paper clip version!:)

Nice work on the transport.

Possibly could do with less moody lighting on the figure photograph (and a plainer background for the support weapons). They look good.

I just snapped the shots on my painting table.  Didn't set it up as a proper shoot. The moody lighting was what I thought a happy accident.

I spend a while getting mine set up and they do not look as good.

It's a good ruleset!  As I mentioned earlier I hadn't really intended on using it but it's most enjoyable!

Here's a new WIP scratch build.  A smaller shuttle for Palpatine and his Crimson Guard.  I think I'm going to try lighting this one.

A very nice model.
I'd make on suggestion. If your going to light the model try defusing the light as they can over power the model if they're too bright. If you've no electric fu. Isn't great then a light coat of mat varnish can do the job ( worth experimenting with first.)
( It's the short cut I use rather than having to get the electricians to certify any re wiring .(( only if the led's are cold led's)) because that really buggers up deadlines.)

Great advice!  I was planning on drilling some holes in the hull, covering with tape than putting on a few coats of laquer.  After you take the tape off you can paint over it as normal.  You can't see anything at all untill you turn on the light then it shines through the thin layer of paint.  Looks REALY cool and will definitely dumb down that harshness as you suggest!:)

Vallejo Matte varnish applied.  Remind me to use it when I want something really shiny!  They were fun to paint though.  A couple of the eye sockets are actually bubbles or void spaces.  Eyes issues...I had eye issues...:/
