Commission for Mongoose, figures for their new Traveller skirmish game. These were 3d printed resin masters, but I understand the figures will be hard plastic multi parts.

I have not heard about this skirmish game yet.
Those are nice looking figures.

I haven't found anything on the material they're using yet, but hard plastic would be good

There was some sniggering over the Porniens.
Nice painting and good to see the warbot is included.
The question is how do they scale against GOA and Maelstrom plastics?

Good sculpting and very fine painting - captures the Traveller universe very well (well, the Imperials and Zhodani). Will there be Aslan, Vargr and K'kree ?

Very nice. Love the smooth shades, highlights and simualted shiny reflections :-*

Mongoose has the worst track record.

I read that alien races would be stretch goals I think, in the kickstarter.

The KS was cancelled, so bad luck... :-[

A shame. It was nice to see old Traveller getting a shot at rejuvenation. It was a very well-thought-out game universe with deep back-stories.
And the old Grenadier box of Imperial troops were a wonderful job of bringing them to life (as were their Alien box). Too bad they never went deeper (e.g. Zhodani). Otherwise, you really had to look at 15mm to do military skirmishing in the Traveller universe (if you wanted your figures to look like the Traveller artwork, anyway).

In the KS-Project-Update there was a short rules-example. Maybe you can work with this, I try it.
