Title: Mongoose Traveller
Post by: Duff on November 16, 2018, 04:15:34 PM: Commission for Mongoose, figures for their new Traveller skirmish game. These were 3d printed resin masters, but I understand the figures will be hard plastic multi parts.

The question is how do they scale against GOA and Maelstrom plastics?

I read that alien races would be stretch goals I think, in the kickstarter.

Post by: Metternich on November 22, 2018, 03:59:13 PM: A shame. It was nice to see old Traveller getting a shot at rejuvenation. It was a very well-thought-out game universe with deep back-stories.

And the old Grenadier box of Imperial troops were a wonderful job of bringing them to life (as were their Alien box). Too bad they never went deeper (e.g. Zhodani). Otherwise, you really had to look at 15mm to do military skirmishing in the Traveller universe (if you wanted your figures to look like the Traveller artwork, anyway).
