My first 'Indian' war-party for my Plains of Abraham project are all but complete (just basing to go) - together with an apologia. I really enjoyed this but it was also a tricky grind. More of these warriors to come in the future.http://unluckygeneral.blogspot.com/2018/11/indians.html (http://unluckygeneral.blogspot.com/2018/11/indians.html)

Nice work, and an interesting read. They have come out really well but as you say do look a difficult subject, look forward to seeing how your project progresses. :)

Really nice detail!

Well done- looks like a great project.

Nicely painted minis and I have to say, I think I share your general sentiment on the period/subject matter as well. I opted for the Conquest minis (now Warlord), and am very excited to get them painted.

I do appreciate a nicely painted Huron, thanks for sharing!

Nice job. Liked reading your blog post too.
Will keep my eye on this thread as I'm reconstituting (yes, like a typcial wargamer I once sold them off) my FIW American Indians.

Thanks everyone for the very generous comments. I have as many more to paint again but I'm dangerously close to ordering a couple of Black Hussar French line battalions. I'm trying to fight it.

I saw these on your blog initially and they are very nicely done.
I hope we will see more.

Well done.
