Let's just say that Brigade Games was going to add-to, flesh-out, etc., their BoB and WWI ranges for 28mm. What would you like to see (within reason, mind you)?
Ok, fire away!
-
Don’t care....just make them available in the UK......PLEASE
-
WW1 Austro-Hungarian gun crew. They do a very nice mountain howitzer in their AH range but no crew for it!
-
WWI Ottoman Turk Cavalry please
-
Machine Gun + crew for Shock Troops
Some Russians with Lewis guns
Command and MG+ crew for Sharifan Infantry
-
Red Army in greatcoat and budenoka. Could be used for late RCW, RPW, BoB and the Winter War.
Germans for South West Africa.
WW1 Serbs.
WW1 Austrians in stahlhems.
-
off the top of my head;
us with B.A.R's
us with browning HMG
us with shotguns (just because that in the trench fighters pack is bloody poor)
command, lewis guns and more for Nigerian Brigade
lewis guns teams for KAR
British naval brigade
Force Publique command and machine guns
-
A civilian pack or two would be nice, i'd like to see new versions of the war in africa stuff.

Amen

Tibetans and more Warlord Chinese - since the original Copplestone range we have had the Osprey and Schiffer publications with lots of more troop types.
-
I would second the WW 1 Austro-Hungarians in stahlhelms (useful for Russian Front as well as Italian), perhaps done as stormtroops (and could add a flamethrower team to that; and perhaps s junior officer/sr nco with the the Austrian trench club and a pistol). WW 1 Austro-Hungarian Skoda 37mm M1915 Infanteriegeschutz regimental gun (see link below - each regt. had two); an Austro-Hungarian higher command/staff blister (a counterpart to the Italian Higher Command blister Brigade already makes). An Italian flamethrower team to accompany the Arditi assault troops. Arditi Villar-Perosa M 1915 "light machine gun" team. Perhaps a couple of blisters of Rommel and his Alpine Corps troops for Caporetto. Perhaps a blister of Arditi or other Italians in Adrian helmets.

And the Madsen light machine gun ! This weapons is largely ignored by miniatures manufacturers (except for Tradition of London, which did it for their 30mm range of WW 1 stahlhelm Germans). It was used by the Russians and Germans (and in more limited numbers captured Madsens were used by the Austro-Hungarians), and was widely used in the Interwar years.

Basmachis would be nice.

+2

Bersaglieri! And more Alpini!
And sanusi for the war in the desert against both the British and the Italians. And more about these quirky forgotten wars in Africa during world war I...
-
Basmachis would be nice.
Aye. And Gurkhas.

This along with some Regular US Army riflemen, command and NCOs.

Slightly larger figures to better match Copplestone! ;D
-
As long as we are getting close to Xmas (and Santa's list), also how about a blister of WW 1 Austro-Hungarian cavalry (there were many thousands of them serving on the Russian Front). Great War makes cavalry in German stahlhelm and British brodie helmets (as well as early war); Copplestone makes Russians (the White Russian Cossacks are fine for WW 1). How about showing some love to the Austro-Hungarians ?
And as a fantasy, how about a blister with the rarer Battlefield One weapons (held by nationals of the respective armies) not produced by other manufacturers?
-
Echoing the call for some civvies.
-
Yeah, to 'available in the UK'
Would like anything that could be used in East coast Africa WW1.
-
Come on Lon, sell your stuff via Nick?
-
Armed interwar urban civilians, which could be used for BoB, or any number of other interwar / VBCW / WWII conflicts.
-
Lon / Nick
Come on, sell the figures in the UK.
There is definitely a market here for them, as they are such great figures, and cover conflicts that no one else covers.
PLEASE.......
-
I too would love to see them sold in the UK! However ordering from Lon is super easy! My order went in yesterday 8)
And civilians would be a great shout too.
-
In fairness, Lon is spot on with his mail order.
-
Guys,
Just wanted to add, that I'm in no way working with Lon or Brigade Games. I had a chat with him at the last two conventions, and therefore my post about possible new figures/packs.
I did, however, pass on about figures being available in the UK. :)

Scarab already make all these!
I second the call for some separate Madsen MGs though...
-
Scarab figures are unusable if your collection already consists of GW, Brigade Games and/or Copplestone. Scarab figures are ENORMOUS (a previous thread on this forum showed comparison pictures of these next to each other and, as described, Scarab looked like ogres next to the other miniatures). Scarab's line just doesn't scale with Great War, or Copplestone, or Brigade Games - the three of which are compatible with each other and none of which are compatible with Scarab.
