Considering painting a few figures for the Chinese Warlord period for one of my 2019 projects. Reading around the subject there seemed to be plenty of Japanese "advisors" around. Any suitable figures out there? (To be honest, surprised I couldn't see any in the Copplestone range. :) )

In uniform because if so my officers might be useable with a kharki paintjob.

These would be a good fit as would Tsuba Miniatures Russo Japanese figures.

In fact, the Japanese uniform has changed significantly since 1905. I would do some conversion of the Copplestone Chinese figures.
Here I have some information on the Japanese during the intervention in Russia. A lot of text in Russian - use Google translator to read:

Thanks everyone.
According to this Osprey the guy in the middle is a Japanese Advisor. I think you are right that Copplestone Chinese would be closer. I'm looking at the Officer pack

I think you are probably right mate, the Copplestone Chinese officer is a better match.
I have a load of Tsuba Japanese and they are quite a bit small than Copplestone, mind you, every Japanese person I have ever met is small than other nationalities.
