Really Nice figures.
I'm currently DMing a WFRP campaign for our group, which is going OK. Some of us where quite interested in Dark Heresy/Rogue Trader although after playing the DH example campaign we through it was very dark- how do you find Rogue Trader?

Still waiting for RT to come out. It hits in August at Gen Con. I think the tone could be lighter in that, but it will still be grim.

Is RT not the 40K-Roleplay? What is the difference?

Dark Heresy plays like a dream. It uses the base mechanics from the Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play, but obviously adjusted for the 40K universe. It is very miniature friendly.
The book is expensive, but gorgeous and IMHO, worth every penny for the sheer amount of fun I've gotten from running it.
Rogue Trader will be out later this summer, and will be a stand-along game where players can run slightly more powerful starting PC's, and take on the roles of a RT and his crew.

Is RT not the 40K-Roleplay? What is the difference?
DH and RT are both 40K RPGs. The only difference is the setting.
In DH you are playing Inquisitorial henchmen / Investigators, in RT you are playing the crew / employees of a Rogue Trader...

How does the game play? Is it a good Sci Fi RPG? How does it stack up against the classics like Traveller and WEG starwars?
For once I am not with Scott...
I like the book and the layout and the background, but the rules are just way too antiquated for my taste.
As Scott said, they are based on the old WH Fantasy RPG rules. So fixed classes, fixed careers, D100 etc.

I wouldn't know how to do that. I did just put some code on there that lets me track traffic. It's from Google Analytics. I think it is quite harmless, but is likely what caused your reaction.

Well, me and my gaming group were always very comfortable with White Wolfs Storytelling system. Maybe something based on that. BTW: I always found WW Trinity Battlezone tabletop game similar to your Supersystem game. Rolling for goals / successes, stuff like that.
So in a way we would use your system plus the WW RPG part...

I've been a big fan of Trinity: Battleground since it came out back in 1998. It did influence some of the mechanics behind SuperSystem.
I like dice pool games a lot too, but there are certain games (DH, CoC, and RT when it comes out) where percentiles just seem to fit for me.

I have thought about using 28mm figures for DH. Granted I don't really know anyone in my gaming group up for the rpg. But I do have some old conversions I made way back for Inquisitor that are 28mm and could be used for DH or Rogue Trader.

Great Audrey, you always seem to turn out some great models. I've also done a bit of 28mm Inquisitor; the rules work very well, if a little clumsy with working out percentages; but the advantages of being able to use all the strange models you've assembled during the course of your gaming lifetime is enormous. BTW the picture link doesn't take me anywhere other than to a new tab with the same picture in.

Glad you all like them. I have a number of other 28mm Inquistor figures I started working on or have converted but never got around to painting.
Also I fixed the link problem above by adding the link below each image. Plus I added a link to the old archive of how I made the figures.

Wow, nice Hasslefree stuff on the second one. The wip dwarf exo may be a good merc unit for tau. The Tau rogue is also a nice idea.
