I have always wanted to make a Genestealer Cult since they were first introduced back in the 80's but have never quite got around to it.
I got hold of some Hybrid heads from the new plastics last week so decided it was high time to have a crack at it, so here goes.
As I want to do something a little different with their 'look' I have opted to chop up a few Blind Beggar models (and one LAM miniature) to form the basis of them, mostly just head swaps with a few different weapons grafted on.
The head swaps were finished earlier so I quickly took this quick shot before finishing off the GS work to tidy them up a bit....

More later as the GS work and weapons are now done and they have been attacked with a brush a little as well.

They are coloured-in a little bit so far which shows the figures a little better.

Pretty happy with them as they only took 48 hours from 'the idea' to finishing them.
I should be getting my hands on a few more Stealer Hybrid heads tomorrow, so I shall be adding a few more over the holiday period.

They do not stand too much scrutiny as close ups, but getting a faction table-ready in that quick a period was well worth it.
And there are a few more planned, just waiting to see how many Stealer heads my contact can come up with....

Oh, mine can be, have no fear of that.
In fact, a lot of my projects never really get going.
It is just that I can spare a bit of time to get some things done at the moment so I am just cracking on when I get the mojo.
It could disappear just as quickly....
Anyway, I have started on the next nine figures and hope to get the conversions finished and a WIP picture taken tomorrow.
That may give me just the kick I need to finish them over the weekend.

As you can see, they ahve a more 'primitive' look, being based on Outlanders.
I am hoping this will convey a kind of colonist/Ratskin/tribal look to them.
Have they infected the tribe, or are they just disguising themselves?

They look good , and in theory makes sense that small isolated groups of humans be easier to overpower and infect ,and also avoid detection that’s why the mining /genestealer gang looked good. :)

They have been undercoated and inked, and may get more done to them tomorrow, but first I MUST finish Hades and the Norns....
