Title: AB Figures: A Second World War Plog
Post by: Inhaber Jerry on December 18, 2018, 04:05:54 PM
I'm a massive fan of AB Figures. They really energised my love for the hobby when I could not be bothered with much of the 28mm and 15mm historical figures available (this has now changed).

Now I have started to move beyond the realms of the Napoleonic Wars and explore the other figures in the range. This has led me to Tony's terrific Second World War figures.

Here, like my Napoleonic paintling blog, I shall leave photos and tricks I have picked up on the way to figuring out how many tiny toy soldiers I want to paint.

To start of with I have some Germans. Painted in a mid to late war style (most probably for Kursk), they were a real  joy to paint, though I'm ready to ship them out the door for someone else to enjoy.

They look excellent! AB miniatures are imho some of the nicest out there. Too bad I‘m already heavily invested into 28mm  ;)
