Hi guys,
I perhaps should have made this announcement some time ago, but I was hoping CA would stay quiet and happy (unfortunately I notice I have things in my inbox that need looking at). Anyway, in October I suffered from a stroke. I am recovering nicely, but currently am not able to follow all the posts religiously, and so am not always aware of the various incidents that may crop up. My fellow mods have been kindly stepping in to keep an eye on things. My thanks to them for that.
The main issue is that my limited time at the computer currently means I cannot provide a speedy response whenever a member hits the "Report to Moderator" button. That sends a message to my email account, and the way things are it is sometimes a while before I see it.
So I am making the request that just for a while, if you see something on this board that absolutely requires immediate attention that you directly message Captain Blood rather than using "Report to Moderator." You have a much better chance of having it dealt with speedily if you do that.
Thanks, guys.
