Title: Gaslands is not just for Christmas
Post by: flatpack on December 26, 2018, 08:38:40 AM
We always try to exchange presents for Christmas, amongst us old monkeys that love to push lead round the table.
This year I was struggling to get something for one of the lads, until he started telling me about Gaslands.
He had just got into it, and had started buying matchbox cars left right and centre.
He also commented that he had only completed one vehicle.
So with this in mind, I raided the kids old toy box, that was sat in the shed.
It’s defiantly an advantage having 4 sons.
I found loads of cars, then found an old transformer toy, and a roller off something.
I spent a few hours, sanding and cutting bits, then I undercoated and came up with the paint scheme shown below.

I got a text off him yesterday saying he was happy with them.

Brutal. (and very nice of you to make, paint and then gift them.)

What a great Xmas present.
I sure he was excited to receive them.

Dice Master will love them, I hope he likes the (60') containers I did for him.
He mentioned Gas Lands to me too. I have the rules, but haven't even got
round to reading them. He seems to have great fun with them, so maybe
we should get him to run a game for us.
