Title: help identifying John Carter? figure

While sorting through items in storage I came across this figure that looks like he might represent John Carter of Mars.   I  got him about 30 years ago and don't recall anything about him now.

Thanks.  Sounds about right for the year.  He was in a box with a bunch of figures from the early 80's.  Found a page with pictures of the figures thanks to your manufacturer suggestion.   He is actually 1510c a mercenary Panthan in the eighth row of 25mm figures http://www.erbzine.com/mag28/2893.html (http://www.erbzine.com/mag28/2893.html)
