Having a gang over tomorrow for some Pulp Alley action.
Going to run side-by-side games (three leagues on each) on the layout below. Probably doing a variant of Lost Keys, as 4 of the six players have not played PA rules. Keep it simple to learn the rule mechanics.
Terrain is Dwarven Forge Realms of the Ancients (ROTA) resin and Erinthor Mountain pieces, and a bunch of tropical flora I’ve cobbled together from a variety of sources.
Will use the slightly angled wall running the short width of table as the boundary between playing areas.

Wow! Mighty indeed :-* :-* :-*
-
Great looking table.
May I ask, what is the table size?
Love all your figures.
Look forward the reading about the games.
-
WOW! :-*
What a great collection
-
Looks good :)
-
What an inspired way to start playing Pulp. Confine the players in a dungeon crawl, thats not dungeon crawl . So everyones straight into the action and not lost wandering the table top.
-
Wow! Beautiful work! I hope we get to see more. :-*
-
Love everything about this, especially the terror birds :-* :-* :-* Hope you have great games!

Yeah, that looks hot...

Fantastic! :-* :-* :-*

What a great layout :-*

That all hangs together really well, the limited pallet on the buildings combined with the greenery is superb and matches the mat perfectly.
Very nice :o :-*
Do you mind me asking who makes the mat?
-
Love the look of the vines growing over the ruins. Damn, that's a good table!
-
Impressively beautiful. :-* :-*
-
That's an amazing looking table and figure collection. Your players are in for a treat.

Thanks for all the positive responses.
The ROTA sets from Dwarven Forge are gorgeous, and are “generic” enough in styling to be used in a variety of settings. This layout uses the most part of 6 sets.
Table size is 4’x6’
Mat is from Cigar Box Battle

Still need some development on these. I want to use a thin wire frame (think inverted square U) shaped to drape over both sides of a wall, with vines hotglued along the frame. Much more stable than just throwing them together with a few twists or a knot, which is what I’ve done here since I was short on prep time.
Three more leagues:

Really like the overgrown look you have made

Amazing table. Enjoy your games.

Looks groovey!
-
Fabulous table , I,m enjoying spotting the Darkest Africa figures in the groups .
-
Beautiful!

Simply stunning. I would love to game on that table and use those figures. I hope you all have a great time.
I recently purchased a huge dungeon series on kickstarter for delivery this coming late summer. Your table turning it into ruins is simply brilliant and gives me ideas to borrow your idea for my games so thank you for sharing. May the dice guards roll well for all of you.

Looks fantastic. I've recently been working on something similar for a game of Congo (using terrain from Adrian's Walls). I made removable hanging vines using wire twisted together with bent ends. The wire can be made in sections and different pieces hung together to get the effect you are after. I glued dried florist moss onto the wire to create the jungle vine appearance. Fiddly to twist the wire, but the overall appearance works.
The original tip came from somebody else's Facebook post. Here's a link:

That is one top table! Your jungle vegetation is particularly effective.

What stunning work on everything :-*

Our first round of games yesterday. Two areas, thee leagues each, playing the Lost Keys scenario. One major plot point and 7-8 minor plot points per area. The plot points all have either creature(s) or follower level figures that will appear once a plot point completion attempt is made. The quantity and location (d6 inches on a scatter die) are randomly determined.
Digger’s Gang attempt their first minor plot point.

And their second.

The puma appears to defend against the Hole in the Hat gang.

Terror birds defend their nest (minor plot point) against the Hole in the Hat Gang.

The Giant Salamander sneaks up on Big Z (of the Incorrigbles) from behind, engages him for several turns, and eventually knocks him down, with the loss of the plot point.
At the top of the photo are most of the Incorrigibles gang, down from failing their respective plot point challenges. This was pretty much the state of affairs through most of the game.

The puma in contact. This animal would prove to be an elusive combatant, basically tying down the Hole in the Hat gang for most of the game.

Masked pygmies appear

The pygmy archers fire at the Rough Rifles

Les Masques Rouge are swarmed by stone guardians and natives

Closing in on the Winged Idol (main plot point). The Rough Rifles and Les Masques Rouge fight for control of the idol. Over the first several turns they mercilessly pummeled Skip’s Crew, which was sandwiched between. Skip was out by the end of turn 3.

The masked pygmies advance into contact against Digger Bones and Sam Palamino, his sidekick.

After dealing with the two terror birds, members of the Hole in the Hat gang rush to reinforce their mates. Only then is the puma finally vanquished.
