I don't think I've shown this off yet on LAF.
It's a Frost Giant from Mark Copplestone for his 15mm Barbarica range. He's also promised to do some new figures, the Ice Warriors, to go with it. I'll post pictures here as soon as they arrive.
You can buy Frostie here: http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/prod.php?prod=455 (http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/prod.php?prod=455)

Well... I like him! :)
-
This news is going to make a lot of people very, very happy. Great giant, btw!
-
The Ice Warriors have just arrived. The pictures not very good, will get a better one later.
-
Oh my God!
Any idea when they will be available to buy?
-
Yes, yes, yes!!!
Please more!
And while the great man is at it: we still need the pictish heroes!
-
that giant's a delight. Straight out of the best kind of Mythic / folkloric illustration.
-
Very nice, but what ever happened to the planned Romans?
-
Let's not scare him off! We suddenly have new figures being added to the range after so long. Just enjoy it while it lasts.
-
I'd forget about the Romans. That plan was a very long time ago, and I can't see them being made.
But I think you will see the Pict Command, and more Ice Warriors.

Wahoo! Now that is something to look forward to.

Quite apart from anything else, that looks like a great 28mm ogre.
-
Nice one indeed. Depending on the size it could be a nice barbarian halfbreed caveogre or some brutish arena fighter. Will get thisd one for sure :).
-
How tall is he and are any of the figures he's shown against 28mm?I love the look of him for my GOT armies.
-
The African on the left is 28mm.

Disappointing.

Not so disappointing :)
I really wanted to build a large force of Romans to oppose my Northlanders (96 pts HoTT), and their Dwarven allies (24pts, still to buy). Oh well, I just ordered the Giant this morning, along with the last needed pack of Northlander cavalry. I'll now have to wait for the Ice Warriors and work out a small force (48 pts) with them, the Giant(s) and Frost Trolls. What packs are planned for the Ice Warriors?
-
Wonderful news. Great to know the great man is back on it... fingers crossed for those Pictish characters / command.
Thanks Nick :)

Excellent

I was thinking exactly the same thing!
-
Blimey - absolutely buzzing on this news!

That's a shame. Oh well, as others have said, just getting new figures for this range is good news.
-
Any chance of seeing a better picture of the Ice Warriors? ???
-
No. I took a rubbish picture on my phone, and then stuck the figures between 2 bits of rubber.
Should have good piccies soon.

In case he needs any encouragement, please feel free to pass this along... ;) :D

That should help him along. I wouldn't want that lot at my doorstep, that's for certain! lol
Great news, Nic. Shall keep the eyes peeled... :)

Chapeau, Captain! I hope the Master will listen!
