Finally got round to writing up the Xmas Game as we continue our WW1 Mesopotamia adventures.

This time the British and Empire Forces have retired to Kut and the siege has begun. The German Commander decides on a siege and settles in for the long term, however whilst he is away the Turkish Troops decide an attack is the better course of action.

It's 8pm Xmas Eve 1915 and the first wave leaves the trenches.

Full orbats and scenario details with a bit of Historical Background and an AAR to boot, what more could you want !

Sounds like you like "If the Lord spare us."  Do you have a quick rundown on it with why you like it?  I love lard, but this is not a game I've played.

Hi, not , much more to say than what is covered in this post and the previous ones on the blog. The best way to get a feel of the rules would be read the old battle reports on the WW1 in the East tab on the blog. You also get my free scenarios !

The rules are specifically designed for the Mesopotamia and similar Campaign and are not just a Western Front rule set with a paragraph about Camels in the back. Easy to play, typical lardy card activation. It was one of their early sets but it works.
