Title: Perry and Brigade Games Spanish comparison

Hey gang,

I've been searching desperately for a comparison of Brigade Games Spanish fusiliers next to the same from Perry - does anyone have an experience with both ranges? Based on the Brigade models I already have, I suspect the size is noticeable...

I don't have Spanish, but I have French from Brigade and Perry and both are very similar in size. Perrys are somewhat bulkier, perhaps. Although, maybe it is because Perrys usually overload their figures with equipment.

Thanks Antonio - I suspect as long as they're not muddled in the same unit, it shouldn't be a significant issue....

Well I can't speak about the Spanish but I use to have (use to have) a bunch of the Brigade French in Egypt range as well as a ton of Perry ones from the same types. In my opinion, some of the ranges mix well size-wise (like the Brigade French Navy figs) but for the French camel corp, the sizes were really different, with the camels from Brigade looking more like ponies compared to the Perry ones. As you probably know, Paul Hicks does most of the sculpting for Brigade and his style is really good but I don't think it mixes well with the Perry's style. In the end, I sold off most of the Brigade figs and have just used the Perry ones, with a number of conversions and alterations. Hope this helps.

I bought some Brigade Spanish Guerrillas.
The figures are very nice but are quite slight.
Some are fitted into units with Perry Monks they look ok.

I have both. The Brigade figures are a little shorter, maybe by 1mm, and a little more slender, but they mix OK. While the detail on the Brigade is possibly sharper and more pronounced, the Perry poses are more elegant.
