Title: Aeronefs Schematics

Looking for some nice schematics to use as a basis for my British Aeronef I am going to build. Even pictures would help, something open topped with lots of deck and of a patrol or launch variety.

Does anybody know the reason for the compass room being on the bottom?
I am a relative newbee to aeronefs and I am not up on the background for them.
What is the best place to find out information like this, books or rules?

Afraid I can't help with the compass, been a long time since I looked at the 1889 books.

hmmm perhaps to keep the compass away from metal? or closer to magnetic pull?

fantastic stuff to I might add look no further I will have a post about schematics and how I will use some in my own setting

You appear to be correct about keeping the compass away for the metal hull.
