Last night we played another game of Fistful of Lead using the Gothic Horror supplement Tales of Horror which is scheduled for release at Salute in April.
This time we gave the game a twist, all three of us would play the Vampire Hunters and the Undead would be generated by a number of random encounters which may or may not spawn the Count, one of his brides or henchmen etc.
Dr De'Ath has been making some splendid dungeon floor tiles here:

It was too good an opportunity to turn down so we used them to represent some hidden catacombs under the city of London, to represent the lair of a Vampire Coven controlled by Count Stralinski.
So the table was set up and we had 25-30 counters each numbered, randomly placed face down on the tiles and corridors. Count Stralinki and his six brides and Henchmen were each given a number associated to one of the counters.
The Hunters would move from tile to tile revealing the counters as they entered the tile. If the number corresponded to the Count or a minion then a fight would take place. We decided once the Count was revealed all his minions would also be revealed and would move to join the fight as soon as possible.
The three groups of hunters included Gentlemen Adventurers, Scotland Yard detectives and Northern Ruffians out for some bashing! It did not fair well for the Hunters, all the Northern Bashers were killed, the police were down to one Sergeant and the gentlemen lost their professor. However the Count was vanquished and his coven destroyed.
This area of London could now sleep safely in their beds...
We enjoyed it so much we intend to play again and add more encounters, good or bad, rat and bat swarms, random weapons etc.
Here are some random photos of some of the action. Note the props to give period flavour ;) :D
