Playing new Metro Exodus game rekindled my interest in all things postapoc and so we managed to have a game of stalker at our club this weekend.
Rules worked out quite nicely and we had a lot of fun playing the game.
Hopу that in a few weeks we can have another game this time with more players and a bigger game table.

That so reminds me of the Yanov map in STALKER Call of Pripyat (which is probably the point ;) ).

That so reminds me of the Yanov map in STALKER Call of Pripyat (which is probably the point ;) ).
I have a couple of very familiar, for any stalker player at least, buildings in the works right now and hope that in a few weeks I will show bigger and better detailed table for our planned four players game. :)

We use a set of home brewed rules as it turned out that we were not able to find any good stalker themed rules on market, still I hope that this is going to change when Dentatus finally releases his "Zona Alfa" ruleset. :)

Game was a blast and we had a lot of fun playing it.
Lots of typical stalker situations and a big showdown in the end turned to farce rather quickly I must add. :)

Thank you! Now when we have an adequate amount of basic terrain for postapoc gaming I think that I need to build some underground terrain next.

Among other things which usually dwell in dark and seemingly abandoned labs :)

I've just spent some time playing "Anomaly" and must say that I rather liked it. IMO It has a good potential to became on of the best stalker mods over time given enough polish.

Have you considered making some artefacts for objective markers? Mine were just slapped together out of a bit of greenstuff and painted up in weird colours. Though I guess regular stacks of grates and guns work for objectives too to be fair. :)

Very clever idea with these artefacts! They look highly recognizable for anyone who played stalker before!
I made some generic markers from various bits and pieces but not considered idea of making artefacts before this moment. Now I think that things are going to change in this regard. :)

Currently playing my way through a CoP game at the moment, so those artifacts are definitely familiar. In 25mm plus (or, maybe, even 20mm) or larger, the artifact models make sense. My chosen scale is 15mm so, while I'd like to make up some similar models, I'm thinking the effort wouldn't be worth the appearance of the final item... :/
