I just recieved the following pack from David at Bronze Age Miniatures.

I have to say, these are some of the coolest miniatures i've got in a long time. I'm really excited to work on these and hope to have one painted by the weekend.
Now that's two projects I have to complete from Burroughs.

These are the latest ones he sculpted. I don't have any of them, but I will someday. The ones I do have tend to get lots of attention at the games I run. Everyone wants to run them.

I was going to ask you about those. I'd like to get in on playtesting the rules you're working on if possible, or at least browse through them. By default I'd use the LoTR rules by GW as everyone I know, knows them. But I'd prefer rules specific to sci-fi pulpishness.
He says he's sending me even more new martians that he's just completed and no one has seen yet. I can't wait.

David is a great guy. My last order included some new unreleased dead earth swordsmen that were just spectacular. I'll be running his figures exclusively in my Lost City of Mars game at Cold Wars.
and I'll be happy to put a playtest package together for you.

Cool, thanks.
When is your game at Cold Wars. I'll be there but have to work my booth during the day.

Also, do you have or know where to get good artwork on the John Carter stuff? I'm having a hell of a time finding some.
Thanks,

I'll be running games at 2 on Friday, then at 10 and 6 on Saturday.
Just look for the short, chubby scowling guy running games next to either the tall guy with the goofy grin, or the 14 year old with the frilly shirt.

There's an ERB amateur press that does a lot of art work. Some pretty big comic illustrators have contributed. Frank Cho, for one, did some Mars stuff. No link as my brain isn't working.

I haven't had a great deal of luck either. There is supposed to be a book entitled 'A Guide to Barsoom' out. It is out of print, but you can still find it on ebay and half.com sometimes.

Join the Bronzeageminiatures Yahoo Group at:

and look at the messages posted near the end of 2006 and beginning of 2007. There was extensive discussion of artwork, and many links were posted and crossposted from TMP. There is also some art in the files section. A lot of the discussion focussed on Pelucidar, but there was some re Barsoom as well.
